Practicing yoga with Julia has been an absolute pleasure! As a professional modern dancer for over 10 years, for me my yoga practice has to be both physically demanding and spiritually centered and unified. Julia was one of the best teachers I have taken yoga classes with. She does a great job of tailoring her instructions to different skill levels while still keeping the class unified. Julia’s yoga classes are amazing. I got more out of her program virtually than I have from any weekly in person yoga class. She is very in tune with each student’s abilities, progress and very good at giving specific feedback that will help your poses. I felt myself progress substantially in my practice in just a week or two. I went in a complete newbie and left being able to hop into a headstand anywhere.

My mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing would not be where they are today without Julia’s yoga sessions. She has a holistic approach to pain management as well as strength training, and tailors her instruction based on how my body is feeling that day — whether my legs are heavy or lower back is aching, etc.. I joined Julia’s Dharma Yoga series and loved it! The classes are dynamic and challenging, while still remaining a welcoming space for beginners and making time for meditation - a difficult balance to strike. I found her instruction helpful and thoughtful, as I was able to improve on poses in ways that surprised myself! I love Julia's classes! I took them as a pure beginner and came out of it knowing how to do a headstand, which I never imagined possible.
